OUR STORY

Traveling Thimbles, LLC was established, March 26, 2010.  As long time teacher friends, and quilt makers, we appreciate the history of the art of quilt making.  We both have a desire to help preserve this art by offering our service as teachers.

With our love of designing and creating quilts,  our advanced skills, and our teaching backgrounds, we have the ability to provide an excellent and enjoyable  experience  for all ages of people.  Unlike other quilt lesson classes, our plan is to travel to the people.

The Traveling Thimbles, LLC is dedicated to providing competent, professional instruction in the art of quilt making through weekend classes and retreats.

We recognize that traveling to quilt classes can be very expensive. Traveling to  the client offers a different approach to holding quilt classes but meets the needs of many individuals in a difficult and ever changing economy.
